More Gothel

More fanart since it's the weekend. Gotta love that Gothel, and her potential for untold melodrama. I told myself I'd do up coloured fanart sometime or another, so even though this is rougher than corrugated paper, I still came through. Back to muscle studies.. yay.

Rochelle, Rochelle

Haven't posted in awhile cause of this stupid muscle test coming up. While I should've been studying, I played a little bit of left4dead2, it was fun and hard, way hard. Anywho I did up some fanart of Rochelle in char design. Anyone get the "Rochelle Rochelle" reference? I guess the movie was a splatterfest ; >

Saw Tangled, it was nice! Didn't really dig Flynn, but I thought Gothel was a pretty strong villain and Maximus made my day : >  Too bad this is so damn rough, real art to come later on.

Spent new years putting away some drinks with a few other somber friends. Anywho even if it's a day late, I wanted to make something to ring in 2011. It's Braniac 5 fanart, since everyone I know in Toronto seems super into dc at the moment I thought I'd draw a character I liked from the group. Took some liberties with his outfit >>

English over

Yea, so I'm almost done the term, which includes this mentally taxing English based elective course. As a last project I did up this digital painting from a scene in "the Story of An Hour". I had to describe the characterization of Louise Mallard, the protagonist, through graphic novel format. I'm not very fond of the story, but I still I wanted to do a good job on the picture. To that end I'd like to think I did what I set out to.

OK so this is the new story, which by dec 17 will be an actual factual leica reel, my technical first : 0 Aside from a few changes to help pacing, I'm generally done with the drawing stage so I figured I'd post the finished boards. More stuff to come before the end of the week!

Latest project in character design. I learned a lot about line art and construction and blah blah blah. I really shouldn't pass it off though, I definitely gained a level of control over my art with this one <3 I haven't grown into this knowledge yet, but I was able to pull this off with relative quickness.
